Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Xander Cook (Paul Tefler) is having a difficult time making an honest living. He’s finally married to the love of his life, Dr. Sarah Horton (Lindsey Godfrey) but he’s having a difficult time finding honest employment.

He attempted to secure a position working for Jack Devereaux (Matthew Ashford) at the Spectator, but because Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), Xander’s former lover, is also working there, Jack turned Xander down.

Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) continued to make nasty remarks to Xander, which prompted Xander to move out of the Kiriakis mansion. This will make it even more important for Xander to find a way to make some cash since he will also have to pay for someplace where he and Sarah can live. Meanwhile, Ava Vitale (Tamara Braun) is looking to take revenge on EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and needs a hired gun to help make that possible.

Look for Ava and Xander’s goals to come together when Ava seeks out Xander to help her carry out her plans. This will most likely involve kidnapping EJ’s mother Susan Banks (Stacey Haiduk). Xander won’t like it but he needs the money, so look for him to follow Ava’s instructions. Xander will have to keep all of this a secret from Sarah, who certainly won’t approve of Ava and Xander’s kidnapping plot. In fact, once she does find out, it would most likely end Xander and Sarah’s marriage.

But secrets never stay buried in Salem for long, so Sarah will certainly discover Xander’s alliance with Ava. And with Sarah’s former flame, Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) back in Salem for the long haul, Sarah might dump Xander for her ex. Rex is a bit of a hero these days so Sarah could easily return to the man she fell in love with, especially once Xander’s criminal activities come to light. Xander will have no one to blame but himself if he loses Sarah because of his alliance with Ava.
