Drake Pursuing 90 Day Fiancé Star Chantel Everett Following Pedro Jimeno Split

Following Chantel Everett splitting from Pedro Jimeno, Canadian crooner Drake has been pursuing the 90 Day Fiancé star. In fact, as per Media Take Out, Drake, 35, has been DMing the 31-year-old TLC reality star. Read on to find out more about what we know about the possible relationship between the pair.

Drake is actively DMing Chantel Everett

According to a source close to the subject, the relationship between Drake and Chantel Everett is only in the early stages. However, it seems to be going well. The source said, “Drake reached out to see how she was doing and where her head was at, and she responded.”

The source, who claims to be close to the Canadian crooner said they have been DMing each other back and forth. Meanwhile, they are reportedly planning to meet up soon.

While it has taken some time, Everett is apparently coming around to the idea of meeting Drake. The insider explained:

Drake has a way of wearing women down. They might not at first expect any romance with Champagne Papi but, before long, it always ends up that way.

Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno divorce

Reportedly, Pedro filed for divorce from Chantel on May 27, 2022. The split came as their six-year marriage became “irretrievably broken.” Meanwhile, Jimeno also filed an emergency motion, requesting the judge to make Everett repay $257K. Chantel had allegedly transferred the money from their joint business account in her personal account in April.

In July, a source told TMZ that the judge had denied Pedro’s request for an emergency hearing. However, the course will apparently set a hearing for a later date to resolve that issue. Meanwhile, a “mutual restraining order” has also been filed by the former husband and wife. Moreover, both parties have deleted any trace of each other from their social media.

Drake’s career hits a milestone

In August, Drake hit a career milestone by overtaking The Beatles with the most top five hits in the history of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Back in June, the singer released his seventh studio album, Nevermind. That album then became his 11th to reach number one on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

Meanwhile, Drake is the fifth to have more than 10 albums hitting number one on the Billboard 200 since its inception in 1956. As for the Beatles, they have released a record 19 albums that reached the number one spot on the chart. Next in line is Jay-Z with 14, followed by Bruce Springsteen and Barbra Streisand who each have 11 top albums.
