Fan-Favorite Star Taylor Cole Met Her Husband Through A Hallmark Movie

In a recent interview, Hallmark Channel actress, Taylor Cole opened up about making movies, saying she was initially “very camera shy.” Since then, she has starred in more than a dozen Hallmark movies and she truly enjoys her work. Besides that, she credits the movies for introducing her to the love of her life.

Taylor Cole has starred in more than a dozen Hallmark movies and it is surprising that she wasn’t always interested in acting. In an interview, she said, “I wasn’t super excited about the world of acting,” adding, “I was very camera shy.”

Meanwhile, prior to working with Hallmark, Cole starred in a number of roles in popular TV shows. In fact, she had parts in Heroes, CSI: Miami, The Originals, Supernatural, Two and a Half Men, Melrose Place and more. As for movies, Taylor starred in Surrogates and The Green Hornet.

Because of these roles, it is surprising that she is most recognizable for her work on Hallmark Channel. Fans may recall her debut in Appetite for Love in 2016. Meanwhile, since then, she has starred in fan-favorite movies like One Winter Proposals, The Art of Us, Christmas Festival of Ice and My Summer Prince.

Speaking to Monsters & Critics, Cole said she has to say that almost every Hallmark movie that is sent her way, she immediately knows she wants to do it. She explained that this was because of the joy it brings everybody and “you know it’s going to be a happy story.” Taylor added:

As an actor, you know you aren’t going to read something that is horrific or something that won’t offend anyone and you know you are going to make people happy.

Besides enjoying working in each movie, it turns out Hallmark was responsible for introducing Taylor to the love of her life. In fact, she met her husband, producer Cameron Larson, on the set of one of the movies. However, she did admit was it wasn’t really love at first sight. Cole said they were friends for several years before they dated. In fact, she told People she even tried playing matchmaker with Cam, trying to set him up with a few of her friends. Taylor added:

Luckily, similar to the movie, none of the matches worked and we both realized we were perfect for each other.

However, while they had originally planned to get married in 2020 in front of 100 guests and the COVID-19 pandemic made them change their plans. Instead, Cole and Larson, who has produced movies like Love in the Sun and Cranberry Christmas. This meant they tied the knot with only their officiant and a few other people in attendance. Meanwhile, their family and friends live streamed the event. According to Taylor, she even had a phone attached to her right arm, revealing her father walking her down the aisle via FaceTime.

Those who love Taylor Cole’s work on Hallmark will be thrilled to know she has signed an exclusive multi-picture with Crown Media Family Networks According to Deadline, Lisa Hamilton Daly, executive vice president of programming at Crown Media Family Networks, said:

 [Cole] brings so much joy and positivity to the Hallmark family and we look forward to continuing our work with her to create heartfelt stories that will touch our viewers.

As other Hallmark stars jump ship for GAC, it is good to know Taylor is staying to make more heartwarming movies.
