A week after the revelation of a PDA romance between GMA3 co-hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes, and after the two co-anchors were temporarily taken off-air, co-host of CBS This Morning Gayle King assesses the situation and shares her concern.

Gayle King — Gayle Kings Says The Situation Is “Messy”
In a recent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen” the host, Andy Cohen coerced Gayle into discussing the recent romance scandal between the two adult co-workers of Good Morning America.
When Andy broached the topic, Gayle attempted to shy away from the conversation by telling Andy that she hoped he would ask her anything but that question.
Despite Gayle’s discomfort with the topic, Andy went on to tell Gayle that he didn’t need her to delve into the specifics but he wanted to know how she sees the whole situation. Andy wanted to know what Gayle thinks of the situation for other shows and if Gayle was glad it didn’t happen to her show.
Gayle eventually replied with, “I mean, I look at the situation and I do say it’s very interesting what’s happening over there,” King said. “It’s just gotten very messy and very sloppy. I do think that. You know, because in the beginning I actually thought … listen, good on Good Morning America. They’re saying that they’re not taking them off the air, two consenting adults. But then the more you read, it’s just very messy.”

Gayle also expressed her concern for the children of Amy Robach and T.J Holmes who have somehow found themselves in the middle of the whole drama courtesy of their parents.
“To me, it’s a sad situation because you’ve got kids involved, you’ve got families involved and I keep thinking about that, I’m very concerned about that.” Said Gayle.
Gayle King — T.J Holmes Had Two Affairs Before Amy Robach
Amy Robach and T.J Holmes were both on the verge of divorcing their spouses before their “co-worker romance” thingy came to light. The duo both got married in the year 2010.
Amy Robach was married to Andrew Shue the actor of “Gracie” and together they share kids Ava and Annie from Amy’s previous marriage with her ex-husband Tim McIntosh. While T.J Holmes was married to attorney Marilee Fiebig whom he shares daughter Brianna with. Holmes is also a father to Jaiden from his previous marriage with Amy Ferson.

It was reported per ET outlet that Holmes has had a years-long affair with a producer who quit the morning show in 2017. Not long after the news of Holmes’ affair with the producer came to light, another news that Holmes also had an affair with another worker who no longer works with the network surfaced.
Before the revelation of Holmes’ series of affairs with his co-workers was revealed, Don Lemon a CNN anchor who is also a friend of Holmes shared his two pence on the issue.
“I’ll say this. I know T.J., I worked with T.J. at CNN, so I have nothing but love for him and I hope that he’s OK,” said Lemon. “I don’t know about their situation, I’m not privy enough, but I just like to offer people love and support and I hope that they’re OK and hope that they continue to prosper.”
Few days after Daily Mail released pictures of Amy and Holmes’ PDA moments, a source revealed to ET that ABC News President Kimberly Godwin held an editorial meeting on Monday morning to address the way forward with her staff.
“I’m going to talk about something that has become an internal and external distraction. The relationship between two of our colleagues, I want to say that while the relationship is not a violation of company policy, I have really taken the last few days to think about and work through what is the best for ABC News. For now, I’m going to take Amy and T.J. off the air while we figure this out. Today, it will be Gio Benitez and Stephanie Ramos doing GMA3 and we’ll take it from there.” Said the source to ET.
It was reported few days later that the network would be conducting investigations to find out whether Holmes’ alleged relationships with other ABC employees violated policies about relationships between bosses and subordinates.
