General Hospital recaps for Monday, August 31 reveal Ava Jerome (Maura West) drugged Jack Brennan, (Chris L. McKenna) while Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) met with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Plus, at the Metro Court bar, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) bonded with her cousin Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Key Takeaways
- Brennan drinks Friday’s spiked cocktail and quickly becomes disoriented.
- Drew sabotages the Metro Court security cameras and searches Brennan’s suite.
- Charlotte dives into the closed pool and makes a horrifying discovery.

Ava Drugged Jack
At the Metro Court Gardens, Ava discreetly added the sleeping pill Drew had given her into Jack’s drink while the WSB chief was occupied on a call.
However, when Jack returned and mentioned he had to leave, Ava seized the opportunity to share insights about Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) complicated history. She also shared her tumultuous relationship with Willow, persuading him to finish his drink.
Feeling overheated, Jack retreated to his room, prompting a frantic Ava to text Drew for a heads-up. Unfortunately, Jack only made it to the elevator before he began to feel dizzy.

Dante Met With Britt And Talked About Rocco
Meanwhile, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) expressed his concerns to Britt about Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), who had been acting distant and withdrawn.
He inquired if Rocco had shared anything with her that might warrant concern. Britt reassured him that Rocco was likely coping with the emotional fallout from Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) death, and that his withdrawal was typical teenage behavior.
Dante was grateful for her insight, and Britt acknowledged her appreciation for him reaching out to her for assistance.

Laura And Sonny Met With Drew
At the Metro Court restaurant, Laura and Sonny confronted Drew as he headed to Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) office to disable her computer.
Laura revealed she would be leaving town soon and requested a ceasefire, starting with Drew stepping back from the Pier 55 auction so Sonny could reclaim it.
Drew, calling Sonny a criminal, retorted that his actions were legitimate, scoffing when Sonny claimed to be a legitimate businessman too.
Although Sonny was open to a truce, Drew stood firm, vowing to destroy him.
After Drew departed, Sonny assured Laura he wouldn’t let Drew derail his efforts to be a legitimate businessman, especially since they both wanted to prevent their feud from affecting the next generation, including Rocco, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), and Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski).

Carly And Valentin’s Make Out Session Was Cut Short
Carly and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) passionate make out session in her office was cut short when she got a call from the front desk about a package that had arrived for Drew.
Believing that Drew was scheming against Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson), Sonny, or Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Carly and Valentin decided to use her master key.
They planned to sneak into Drew’s new office at Aurora under the pretense of delivering the package.
At the same time, Danny and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) were also eager to investigate Drew’s office, hoping to uncover something damaging that could compel Drew to allow Danny to see Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski).
Danny Swiped A Master Key, But He And Charlotte Took Off
Danny managed to swipe a master key from the housekeeping staff, but just as they were about to enter the office, the teens heard Carly and Valentin approaching and quickly hid.
Inside Drew’s office, Valentin discovered an envelope tucked away in the cabinet that detailed Drew’s business strategy for reentering the corporate scene.
He and Carly resolved to take the file and use it against Drew. There may have been time to photograph the document or make copies.

Curtis Met His New Cellmate
In his newly assigned housing unit at Pentonville, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) made a startling discovery: Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was to be his cellmate.
Sidwell quickly took it upon himself to caution Curtis about the precarious situation he found himself in. He explained that any schemes involving Sonny’s associates that targeted Sidwell would inevitably put Curtis in the line of fire.
Furthermore, as a former police officer, Curtis was not just a target. The impending retaliation from other inmates aimed at him also posed a significant threat to Sidwell’s safety as well.

Rocco And Scout Saw Willow Flirt With Chase
A shirtless Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) recoiled from Willow after an intimate moment while comforting her at the boathouse.
When she expressed regret for leaning on him too heavily, Chase reassured her that Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) and Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) were everything to him.
But he could still support Willow as a friend, especially given their shared past. After Willow and Chase departed the boathouse, Rocco and Scout emerged from their hiding spot in the bushes, having overheard the entire exchange.
A stunned Scout questioned whether Willow had been in love with Chase all along during her marriage to Drew, but Rocco cautioned against jumping to conclusions; Scout appreciated Rocco’s ability to help her calm down and view the overheard conversation from a new angle.
Chase Met With Dante And Britt And Willow Bonded
Later, Chase met Dante at the Gardens and confided in him about his situation with Willow, whom he believed still had feelings for him.
Dante advised Chase to be there for Willow if she faced serious danger, but to steer clear of her complicated issues with Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).
Meanwhile, cousins Britt and Willow crossed paths at the bar in the main restaurant, bonding over strong drinks and the good men they had loved and lost.
It had been Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) for Britt and Chase for Willow.
When Willow lamented that she had ruined her chance at happiness, Britt smiled and reminded her that she had found love again, suggesting that Willow might too.

Ava Hunted Down Drew, While Charlotte Bumped Into Brennan’s Body In The Pool
After successfully infiltrating Carly’s vacant office and disabling the hotel’s security system with a computer virus, Drew began searching Jack’s room.
When Drew failed to respond to her message, Ava hurried to Jack’s room to alert her partner that they needed to escape before Jack returned.
With their plans to investigate Drew’s office disrupted, Charlotte and Danny headed to the darkened pool, which was closed for the season.
She proposed they take one final swim, ensuring that ‘borrowing’ Chase’s truck wasn’t in vain; however, when Charlotte swam into the deep end, she was horrified to discover a body floating in the water!
