General Hospital spoilers reveal that a new pairing may be in the works for the New Year in Port Charles. Let’s face it, some of the town’s couples ought to be in mothballs, we’ve haven’t seen them for that long. I’m not naming names, just referencing a certain shrink and his mayor’s wife. See, no names!

At any rate, if you think that there could be a major change in the works for Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dustin (Mark Lawson) after yesterday’s bombshell revelation, think again. For the time being at least, these two cuties appear to continue to be as snug as a bug in a rug.

We knew it had to be a matter of time before Brook Lynn’s sleazy manager made himself known. After all, he is the reason she came to Port Chuck. In a blazing moment of ditzziness the normally sharp gal signed her career away to a sleazeball who also happens to want to sleep with his talent. She’s doing what she can to break out of the contract but to no avail. Her dad won’t bail her out, Diane (Carolyn Hennessy) can’t help, and now she’s performing at dives under a different name.

Her manager finds her though, and when he got handsy a most surprising foe came to her rescue—Lulu. After Lulu jumped in to defend Brookie’s honor, Dustin did the same.

What is even more shocking than Lulu’s defense of her sworn enemy is the revelation that Dustin and Brook Lynn share a past–even if a momentary one. How sweet was it when she called him Dusty?!

The look on Lulu’s face said it all and soon the couple will have a long talk about whatever this connection is and means.

Of course, Lustin fans are concerned about the possibility that Brook Lynn will take Lulu’s man before they really get traction. I don’t think that’s going to happen. Here’s why: did you see the interaction between Brook Lynn and Chase (Josh Swickard?)

GH Spoilers – Bad girl, good guy equals magic

In case you missed it, it was the Fourth of July at the Floating Rib! The two couples started brawling and none other than a good guy, great looking Chase came to break up the shenanigans.

In classic fashion, Brook Lynn grabbed a bottle and hit Chase over the head with it, by accident of course. Still, this scene was scintillating and a mere precursor to more sparks to come.

Law-abiding do-gooder that he is, Chase was forced to take all four combatants to the PCPD. Boy, was he disappointed in Lulu! Not so much for Brook Lynn though, who continued to annoy everyone in sight.
