Lindsie Chrisley Gets Candid On Not Visiting Her Dad In Prison

Chrisley Knows Best alum, Lindsie Chrisley never had a good relationship with her dad, Todd Chrisley. However, since he went to prison, she blew hot and cold about him. Recently, she opened up more about it.

Todd Doesn’t See His Oldest Daughter 

Recently, the former reality TV star opened up about her choice not to visit her father in prison. As reported by Woman’s World, she’s been candid about her reasons, which have stirred up a lot of talk among fans. 

The article cited Lindsie as saying “The last time I visited my dad probably was…was it the beginning of last year?” Furthermore, she claimed, “I can’t even honestly remember.” Additionally, she never visited her step-mother, Julie in the Lexington facility.

Ending the conversation, she added, “I have had no contact. And that’s all I’m going to say for that.”

Flip-Flopping Over Her Dad

The situation seems complex, with Lindsie’s stance surprising some folks, given her past statements. There’s a lot of speculation about her involvement in the case. On social media some fans suggested that it seems she has close ties to the FBI. So, it’s possible that she was a whistleblower.

Strangely, back in 2023, Lindsie publicly said that she supported Todd and Julie. At the time, she made it clear that she didn’t care what people said but she mentioned “government overreach.” Of course, that earlier support makes her current decision to not visit her dad all the more puzzling.

Things might have changed as her relationship with her sister, Savannah Chrisley, has become strained. Savannah tirelessly works to try and get a pardon for her parents.

On Reddit, when u/Best_Scallion_9983 shared the news about Lindsie Chrisley not seeing Todd, people decided that the family seemed way too toxic. One respondent said,“S–t humans, the whole bunch of them. I have never ever seen a more entitled, disgusting, self righteous family.”

Another person wrote, “I fully believe Lindsie was just protecting herself from Todd’s manipulations, and I’m sure he’s the director of his little puppet, Savannah.”

A comment arrived that didn’t back Lindsie about distancing herself. Instead, someone wrote, “Each one of them seem to lower the bar regarding human morality and decency to the point where you think they’ve hit rock bottom then another Chrisley comes along and says, ‘hold my beer.'”

Estranged With Allegations

The USA Network alum clashed with her dad more than once. When she divorced Will Campbell, Todd mentioned it on social media, and she went ballistic. Of course, there was also the infamous tape allegations.

Lindsie had claimed that After staying overnight at a former friend’s place, she found herself in a difficult situation. A recording, captured by a dog camera, appeared to show her engaging in sexual activity with Robby Hayes, a former contestant from The Bachelorette.

Lindsie responded by filing a police report to document the incident. Additionally, she made accusations that her brother, Chase, and her father, Todd, had tried to use the recording to blackmail her.
