Lori Loughlin To Star In Blessings Of Christmas On Great American Family

Former Hallmark star Lori Loughlin is getting into the holiday mood as Great American Family announces a new Christmas movie. Blessings of Christmas (working title) will premiere in October as part of the network’s Great American Christmas. Read on to find out what we know so far about this upcoming holiday movie.

Lori Loughlin in Blessings of Christmas on Great American Family

Great American Family announced on Monday that Blessings of Christmas will premiere are part of its Great American Christmas programming event. The event starts on October 21 and according to Deadline, a new Christmas movie will debut each Saturday and Sunday. Meanwhile, former Hallmark star Lori Loughlin is set to star opposite James Tupper (Big Little Lies, Revenge).

In Blessings of Christmas, Loughlin plays the renowned TV star Mandy Gilmore, who is saying goodbye to her hit culinary series, A World of Food, so she can travel the globe and dine in all 142 Michelin-star restaurants.

However, before jetting off to Paris, Mandy heads to Milwaukee with the deed to her deceased aunt’s food pantry, Angel’s Fare. The business had recently been purchased by business owner, Adam Carraway (Tupper). While it is supposed to be a simple transaction, pantry volunteer Otto Nessen (Jesse Hutch, Batwoman, Project Blue Book) reminds everyone that Aunt Susie’s love of cooking was actually a love of feeding. This inspires one more holiday feast for those who needed it most.

About Lori Loughlin

After completing her prison sentence for her part in the college admissions scandal, she was dropped by Hallmark where she starred in When Calls the Heart. However, after being fired from the show, the Full House alum returned to the When Calls the Heart spinoff, When Hope Calls in 2021.

After her stint in When Hope Calls, Lori starred in the original movie Fall Into Winter for the network. Clearly, with the new movie Blessings of Christmas, she has found her home at Great American Family.
