Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Reveal Baby Boy’s Name

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced the name of their newborn son. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex introduced the two-day old tot to his great grandmother, Queen Elizabeth. The couple then revealed on their Instagram account that they’ve finally come up with a fitting name for the newest member of the British royal family: Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The Royal Family were the first to share a behind-the-scenes photo of Queen Elizabeth meeting little Archie for the very first time. The photo depicts the Queen smiling delightfully at little Baby Archie with his mom Meghan Markle holding him in his arms. The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Harry and Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland all look on in this photo, which has royal fans from all over the world excited and delighted to finally learn that the newborn has a name!

The photo was captioned with, “The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were today introduced to the newborn son of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Windsor Castle. The Duchess’s mother, Ms Doria Ragland was also present. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to announce that they have named their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.”

According to both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Baby Archie has been nothing but a “delight” at home with Meghan chiming in that he has a pleasant temperament. The Duchess of Sussex previously revealed that she plans on taking a three-month maternity leave. The Duke of Sussex, meanwhile, will be forced to leave his wife and newborn son behind for a quick trip to the Netherlands. Harry will be on hand to start the official countdown for the 2020 Invictus Games, which will be held in The Hague next year. Although, it’s safe to assume that the moment Harry has his royal obligations completed, he will rush home to be with Meghan and Archie.
