Contradictory descriptions of Kate began to emerge after Tatler magazine used its July/August issue to feature Kate Middleton. The publication examined the Duchess of Cambridge’s influential role inside the role family.

After interviewing Kate’s friends, her staff members, courtiers, and high profile society figures who spoke anonymously, the magazine painted a portrait of Kate as a woman “willing to do whatever it takes to survive in the cutthroat royal environment.”

Kate Middleton Wants To Be Queen?

There’s a saying, “It’s good to be King.”

Royal family insiders claim that in Kate Middleton’s mind, it’s even better to be Queen. One source described Kate as seeking to behave exactly like Queen Elizabeth. Moreover, that insider feels that the Duchess of Cambridge’s rumored decision to use the Queen as her role model has served her well.

“It’s why [Kate Middleton] is so well suited [for this family],” summed up the source. “She keeps her head down because the prize of being queen is so great. She models herself on the Queen and now speaks like the Queen.”

And like Queen Elizabeth, Kate wants to keep her public image perfect.

“In the palace, you hear numerous stories of the staff saying so-and-so is a nightmare and behaves badly but you never hear that about Kate,” stated one royal family insider.

Kate Middleton Reportedly Feels ‘Exhausted and Trapped’

Those who long to lead the royal life may want to consider the rumored reality of the Duchess of Cambridge’s duties. Ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped back from their obligations in the royal family, Kate has taken on more duties.

“Of course she’s smiling and dressing appropriately but she doesn’t want this [increased workload],” revealed one royal family insider. “She feels exhausted and trapped. She’s working as hard as a top CEO, who has to be wheeled out all the time, without the benefits of boundaries and plenty of holidays.”

“This story contains a swathe of inaccuracies and false misrepresentations which were not put to Kensington Palace prior to publication,” claimed the spokesperson.
