A Manhunt Intensifies

The Stoyanov family has been kidnapping people left and right in Deadwater and is helping to spread dangerous drugs that are more lethal than fentanyl.

The cartel has already kidnapped one of Mickey’s friends and his daughter. Mickey’s friend was badly beaten, but he was finally rescued, and one of the mobsters didn’t survive.

In a different episode, Mickey’s father, Wes Fox (W. Earl Brown), was kidnapped by the same cartel after he was forced to work with federal agents to try to bring down this cartel.

Wes’ phone was thrown into a parking lot, and his truck was left abandoned as the cartel grabbed him.

As previously revealed, Wes’ dangerous undercover mission has already put his life at risk.

Wes will find himself in grave danger, and even if he is freed, the cartel will go after others.

Mickey Fox Races To Save Lives

Mickey has found herself in over her head with this whole cartel situation.

Mickey has been forced to work with her father, whom she is upset with, and her mother, who has been out of her life for 35 years.

Mickey was also dating a dirty DEA agent who brought this whole mess into her life while working with the DEA.

Young women are being kidnapped and forced into sex trafficking to serve men who are on drugs and dealing with tremors.

These ladies have no way to escape and are being given drugs against their will to keep them in line or to take them out.

Mickey is trying to stop this trade before any more women can be sacrificed for the cartel.

The situation has become increasingly dangerous as Mickey investigates a deadly drug crisis and the cartel’s trafficking operation.

A Family Must Confront The Past

Mickey and Wes are being forced to work with Eva Santos (Rachel Ticotin), who abandoned them years ago.

Eva was using the name Maria and was married to Wes.

Eva made a deal with the DEA so that Wes could get out of prison faster and come home to their daughter.

However, neither Mickey nor Wes knows everything that happened once Wes was arrested and sent to prison.

Mickey and Wes have not wanted an explanation for Eva’s disappearance or why she suddenly showed up in Edgewater.

Annemarie’s Take: Mickey has enough on her plate without being forced to trust two parents who have already let her down. I hope Wes survives this kidnapping, but I also think Eva owes both of them some serious answers. The cartel is dangerous enough without all these family secrets getting in the way!
