Squid Game 2 – To Feature More Tests For Humanity
The hit show’s creator Hwang Dong-hyuk recently teased exciting details about what they’re up to regarding the second season of Squid Game, which wasn’t initially expected to exist.
Netflix greenlighted the movie for a second season after the first broke box office figures and gained a massive audience worldwide. If you’re thinking things will be a little bit more peaceful in this upcoming season, then think again.
We’ve had many exciting news about what we should and should not look forward to in season 2 so far, including the news that HoYeon Jung could be making a comeback after fans saw her get killed in season 1, but the latest one could well top the list.
The second season will question the logic behind the reasoning that unity will make it possible for humanity to conquer all.
“Humanity is going to be put to a test through those games once again,” he told Vanity Fair.
He added, “I want to ask the question, ‘Is true solidarity between humans possible?'”
The first season of “Squid Game” saw one hundred people try to pay off their debts and gain wealth by participating in childlike games with a violent twist.
The massacre that followed brought contestants together to fight for their survival while confronting threats from all sides.
Dong-hyuk said that the reason why contestant death was so high in season one was because the players found it hard to understand each other.
“If they were capable of talking with one another, of co-operating with one another, I do agree that there could have been a possibility that we could have seen more winners,” he added.
Squid Game – Returning To Netflix
The series will be returning to Netflix in 2023 or 2024. Dong-hyuk said that he’s written three pages full of ideas and is in the process of getting Netflix to approve them.
