The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke’s Suspicions, Taylor Using Douglas As A Pawn?

The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers and updates tease that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) is suspicious of Taylor Hayes’ (Krista Allen) motives where Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) is concerned. She already accused Taylor of using Douglas to get to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and now she’ll tell Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) Taylor’s using the little boy as a pawn.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers –  Territorial Over A Child?

There is no doubt that since Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) asserted his rights as Douglas’ father, wanting him to live with him, that Brooke became territorial over the boy. As far as Brooke is concerned, Hope should be the only one to have any time with Douglas in spite of Douglas wanting to spend time with his dad. Brooke thinks Thomas is a psycho and poses a danger to his son even though Thomas has shown great healing.

Since Taylor has been Thomas’ greatest cheerleader in Thomas’ healing and taking responsibility for his son, of course Brooke lashes out. She further seeks to influence Hope by telling her Taylor is using Douglas as a pawn to get to Ridge.

B & B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Appears To Want Equal Time

Thomas has asked to move into Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) home and have Douglas live with him there. Brooke is being ridiculous in her trying to forbid it, her own sister Donna Logan (Jennifer Garies) lives there and will ensure Douglas is not harmed. Thomas is asking for equal access and equal time, and as Douglas’ remaining birth parent has every right to want his son with him.

But Brooke doesn’t see it that way, and not even Eric can talk her out of her rant; she is asserting her control as Douglas’ grandmother. It doesn’t matter that she’s no blood relation to him at all.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Douglas Forrester, Ping Pong Boy

It’s a good thing Douglas isn’t present to hear Brooke rant about Thomas wanting Douglas to live with him. Poor boy is going to feel like a ping pong ball if Brooke stirs up a true custody fight between Thomas and Hope. But true to form, if that happens, she’ll blame Taylor for encouraging Thomas to step up as a dad.

Problems have developed between Brooke and Ridge over her opinions of Thomas before; her starting this up again over Douglas may be the straw that breaks the bridge for good. Ridge isn’t going to stand for a fight over his grandson because Brooke thinks he’s crazy.
