B&B spoilers for Tuesday, December 5 reveal that Eric is just as determined as ever to have his goodbye gala. Even though Eric wants his illness kept a secret even from his loved ones, the truth is slowly leaking out.

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Brooke, Katie and a handful of others know about the patriarch’s grim fate.

B&B Spoilers – Goodbye Gala

In Monday’s episode, Ridge finally squashed Zende Forrester’s (Delon deMetz) anger toward Ridge “RJ” Forrester, Jr. (Joshua Hoffman). As Zende was firing verbal arrows at RJ, Ridge interrupted by slamming the office door. Ridge finally decided it was time to let Zende know about Eric’s condition.

Meanwhile, Eric told Donna that there wasn’t much time left and to send out the invitations. By invitations, Eric was referring to his goodbye gala.

Donna will obey Eric’s wishes. That doesn’t mean Donna approves or likes it, though. Donna will share her concerns with Katie and Brooke.

Of course, the Logan sisters will rally around Donna and Eric as the party planning continues. The trio certainly don’t feel like celebrating, but it is one of Eric’s final wishes.

On Tuesday, December 5, fans will also see the return of Thorne. It seems that Thorne and Bridge Forrester (Ashley Jones) both come back to L.A. after receiving Eric’s invitation. It will be great that Bridget and Thorne are coming back. Fans wished it were under better circumstances, though.

However, fans recall that Ridge mentioned not getting phone calls returned. So, these two can dodge urgent family phone calls, but agree to come to a party without knowing the real reason why? In any case, expect a bittersweet family reunion for the Forrester and Logan families.
