Adam thinks that he’s learned an epic secret about his dad, and he’s willing to use it to make him pay the price for abandoning him in Kansas all those years ago. In fact, the secret has everything to do with Kansas and involves two shadowy events from the past.

In short, Adam thinks that Victor killed AJ Montalvo, the father of his childhood friend Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico). Crafty Adam is baiting his friend, who is now an investigative reporter, to dig into the crime with the hope that Victor will be exposed.

Alyssa has a reason to dig as Adam has intimated that her father AJ killed his stepfather, Cliff Wilson.
