British royal family news reveals that lest one think that marrying into the royal family is a life-wreaking deal breaker, Sophie Winkleman is setting the record straight.
Unlike her counterpart Meghan Markle Duchess of Sussex, Sophie has nothing but good things to say about The Firm and her take on their generosity and good will is refreshing as well as revealing.
Prince William, Prince Charles and other Royal Family members are being given recognition for their kind-heartedness
Sophie is an actress known for her roles on Peep Show and Two and a Half Men. She also married into the royal fam via her nuptials to Lord Freddie Windsor, the son of Queen Elizabeth‘s first cousin, Prince Michael of Kent.
Talking to the Times, Winkleman shared that her experience with the royals is the exact opposite of that of
Markle who went to great lengths to remove herself from the Windsors, and has thrown shade at them even after relocating across the pond.
Sophie revealed that after being involved in a serious accident, the family made sure she was taken care of. She broke a foot and two bones in her back and afterward Prince Charles ensured that a Clarence House chef brought her and her family two meals a day, “for weeks on end… It was life saving having this massive thing twice daily I didn’t have to worry about.”

She said that Prince William also made his presence known by asking a coworker in the air ambulance to “take good care of her.” On top of that, Prince Edward’s wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, visited her while she was in the hospital.
“I’ve been incredibly welcomed with open arms by all of them. I haven’t had a single negative experience,” she said. Maybe she should have been on the official welcome wagon for Meghan Thee Duchess?
“The Queen’s been wonderful, Prince Charles has been wonderful, Prince William’s been heaven. They’d never tell me off at all if I wanted to play some [racy] role. Everyone’s looked after me. Oh God, please don’t make me sound too gushing.”
Not every newcomer to the royal family is disenchanted with the royal kingdom
The actress added that she, “definitely wasn’t trying to get to Ascot to meet Prince William,” and one has to wonder if the shade reached Meghan all the way across the pond.
