The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will wonder how his absence will impact his family and friends as he faces the possibility of years in prisonin an upcoming episode of The Young and The Restless!
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott ’s Got A Lot Of Time To Think Sitting In The Genoa City Jail
Billy’s (Jason Thompson) got a lot of time to think sitting in the Genoa City Jail. At least Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has forgiven him for pushing her away. Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that he had fired her, but after Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) brought him in, she came to the visitation room at the jail anyway. As Billy sat cuffed to the table, she laid down some ground rules that he had to follow if he wanted her to represent him.
For one, he couldn’t tamper with witnesses as he had tried to with Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenica). He also was not supposed to speak to police or the district attorney unless she was present. They also talked about Alyssa, and how Billy couldn’t understand why she would have turned against him. ChancComm had paid her big bucks to write the two exposés on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and it had given her the chance to go big time with her investigative reporting career.
Then there was her leaving town and not contacting him while she was gone, and yet she mysteriously turns up to place him at the crime scene. Billy made a point to Amanda about why would she suddenly turn up. Amanda reminds him that not only do they have Alyssa as a witness, but she holds no animosity towards Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) or Billy. Billy tells her she does hate Adam – Adam killed her father, even though the two of them had been childhood friends. After Amanda leaves and he’s back in his jail cell, he considers the impact his absence could have on his family and friends.
Y&R Spoilers – Billy Knows The Cards Are Stacked Against Him
Billy knows that the cards are stacked against him as far as being the most likely culprit. It’s common knowledge that he hates Adam for running over Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono). He has tried to kill Adam before, which is also common knowledge. His gun, which had been in the closet at his ex-wife Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) home, was found in a dumpster close to where the shooter took aim from the top of a building. Nothing he and Amanda had discussed made sense, including why Alyssa would have framed him for the shooting,
They can’t prove someone paid her to do so. Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) have just started a romantic relationship. What will happen to their relationship if he is convicted? She’s in his court now and on his side, but will she stop believing in his innocence if he’s convicted? Then there is Victoria – she is still the mother of one of his children. What will she tell the kids? What will they think? Will they all believe he’s a killer?
Will the kids suffer the same kind of bullying as Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) has over Adam’s bad reputation? Then there’s his mother – Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). She supports him now, but what if the evidence provided in court is overwhelming? She knows his history with Adam, and he may be her son, but Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) took a bullet for Adam and Chance is her grandson!
Billy knows it’s not as bad as a death penalty sentence, but attempted murder and especially where a cop took the bullet stacks everything against him. Amanda doesn’t have a lot to work with and even if a plea bargain is offered, Billy doesn’t want to confess to a crime he’s not guilty of!
