Days Of Our Lives Spoilers Friday, January 22: Gwen Cries Abandonment To Bio Dad Jack – Ben Protects Claire From Desperate Charlie

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, January 22, tease that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will wonder what Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) is talking about. Gwen just admitted to being Jack’s daughter, but it’s doubtful he’ll buy that without a lot more information. Luckily, Gwen will be happy to supply that info. She’ll take Jack back to his time in Europe, where he hooked up with Gwen’s mom.

It sounds like Jack got a woman pregnant and then bolted before he could find out. Whatever the case, Gwen will blame Jack for the rough childhood she had and all the struggles she’s had since. Gwen will feel like everything would’ve been different if Jack had loved her and provided for her like a good dad should.

Of course, Jack’s bound to wonder how he could do that without knowing Gwen existed. Gwen may not buy the idea Jack had no clue. It’s possible Jack had an inkling about Gwen and chose to leave that part of his past behind, but it’s also possible he was genuinely in the dark.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Gwen Rizczech May Arugue Over The Connection

Regardless, Gwen may argue that revealing their connection sooner wouldn’t have made a difference. She might feel like Jack’s only capable of loving the children he’s had with Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain). Gwen may think Jack never could’ve loved her the way he loves Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) – but especially Abigail.

JJ was a problem child who got trouble with the law repeatedly and later became a drug addict. Gwen may admit she was much more interested in knocking Abigail off her precious pedestal. Abigail was the daughter who got money, attention and praise thrown at her while Gwen got nothing.

Jack and Jennifer will feel like Gwen’s handled this all wrong. If Gwen had just been honest from the get-go, Jack may assure Gwen that he would’ve accepted her. Now that Gwen has blown the whole family apart, the idea of father-daughter bonding becomes a great deal tougher.

DOOL Spoilers – Abigail DiMera Gets Shocking Details

Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will get some shocking updates from Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Chad will drop the half-sister bomb on Abigail and explain that he heard it straight from Gwen’s secret partner, Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay).

Abigail will reel over the news that Gwen drugged her as part of this family destruction plot. However, Abigail probably won’t be all that surprised once she really thinks about it.

Once Abigail’s got the scoop from Chad, she’ll decide she needs to talk to Jack. Once Abigail meets up with her dad, she’ll question him about whether Gwen’s telling the truth. Jack will probably admit the timing lines up with when he was in Europe – and Gwen’s commitment to the scheme certainly says she believes Jack is her father.

Meanwhile, Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will await Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) explanation. Once Jake realizes Kate’s standing in the doorway, he’ll likely shove Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) away. Jake will assure Kate that Gabi’s the one making moves on him. It’ll still be Kate who Jake wants – or at least that’s what he’ll claim.

As for Gabi, she’ll sense that she’s already made progress when it comes to creeping back in Jake’s heart. Gabi will make it clear that Kate’s got a threat to her romance, so Kate will need to stay on guard.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Allie Horton Deep In Thought

In the town square, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will notice Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) seems deep in thought. Part of Allie will wish she could recall Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) being the one to hold her down and assault her in London. Another part of Allie will want those memories to stay buried forever.

Allie will acknowledge that it’d be helpful to the case if she could remember, so Ben will ask if Allie’s considered hypnosis. Allie will mention that she discussed it with Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker), but the thought of reliving her trauma is difficult to bear.

Allie will want to know about Ben’s experience with hypnotherapy, so Ben will walk her through what happens and suggest Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is good at what she does. He’ll leave Allie with a lot to mull over, but Days spoilers say Allie will indeed be hypnotized next week.

Until then, Charlie will corner Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and push her to give him a chance to prove himself. Charlie will want Claire to believe in the love they share, but Claire will feel like it was all based on lies. Now that Claire has seen Charlie for who he really is, she’ll argue that they can’t go back.

Ben will stumble upon this intense confrontation and warn Charlie to back the heck up! Charlie will face some vicious threats and will hopefully realize it’s wise to be wary. Once Charlie takes off, DOOL spoilers say Ben will make sure Claire’s OK and will offer plenty of reassurance.
