Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Laura Horton (Jamie Lyn Bauer) will confess that she’s known about Gwen Rizchech (Emily O’Brien) since she was a baby. She never told Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) about the child. In fact, Laura got rid of Gwen and her mother, something she justifies. Apparently, she did it to protect Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain).

DOOL spoilers reveal that after months of wondering what Gwen’s issue was, we finally got an answer. She announced that she was Jack’s other daughter, the one he dumped in favor of Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller). She talked about how Jack didn’t want anything to do with her and he sent a few dollars every once in a while. However, Jack claims that he has no idea what she is talking about and nobody ever told him about Gwen. Then, Gwen talked about moving out of the country, which she was asked how they paid for it if they were so poor. Gwen mentioned her mother using drugs and then she died, which made Gwen an orphan.

DOOL Spoilers Next Week – Jack Deveraux’s Claim

While half of Gwen’s story might be true, there are certain things that she’s either lying about, exaggerating, or she was not told the whole truth by her mother. When it comes to moving to another country, that would have required some serious financial help. If Jack had no idea about Gwen, then it was probably Laura, who will make a confession regarding Gwen during the week of February 1. The few dollars that Jack sent probably didn’t come from him at all since he didn’t know about Gwen. That probably came from Laura, as well, as a way to keep Gwen a secret.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Laura comes to town and shares a bombshell confession with Jennifer and Abigail. Jack is not included in this conversation. Apparently, Laura doesn’t think he should be informed even though it directly impacts him. Laura will probably have “good intentions” for what she did. She likely thought that the truth came out that Jack had another child, it would ruin Jennifer’s life.

Laura probably thinks she was doing the right thing at the time. Gwen’s mother could have destroyed Jack and Jennifer’s lives. We’re not just talking about Jack getting some waitress pregnant, but Gwen’s mother might have been more interested in money than her daughter getting to know Jack.

Gwen mentioned her mother dabbled in drugs. If this is true, then maybe Laura felt that she was a serious threat to Jack and Jennifer’s lives. It could have created a huge scandal. Of course, maybe Gwen never knew about Jack at all. She might have found out her father’s identity years after her mother died. This whole “poor discarded daughter” story might be just a way to get some sort of payout. We know there will be a DNA test, but all paternity tests in Salem get tampered with, so we’re not sure if the results should be trusted. No matter what the DNA test indicates, we don’t see Gwen leaving Salem anytime soon and there will be more storyline twists in the next few months.
