General Hospital Spoilers: Nina’s Revenge! She Knows Sonny Is Alive And Where He Is, Keeps It To Herself!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that in Port Charles, NY Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has stumbled upon the perfect revenge against Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) for knowing that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) was her daughter and keeping it a secret in upcoming episodes of General Hospital. She knows Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is alive, and where he is, and she’s going to keep it to herself and let Carly believe he’s dead!

General Hospital Spoilers – Nina Reeves Is Angry And Hurt

General Hospital viewers will remember how hurt and angry Nina was when she realized she had buried her daughter, and that Carly had known and kept it a secret. She was even more devastated when she found out her serious boyfriend and lover, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) also had known and kept the secret with Carly! It was like he was putting Carly and her concerns ahead of Nina, whom he supposedly loved! At least it feels that way to Nina – she feels betrayed by the both of them!

Even though Jax and Carly both said they didn’t figure it out until after Nelle was dead, it didn’t ring true to Nina. She knows that Carly and likely Jax both knew when she made sure that Nelle had a decent burial – simply because Carly had fought her so hard. She even turned over her headstone, and Nina no longer believes for a minute that Carly stumbled and it was an accident! She is furious at both of their attitudes towards Nelle when Nelle was alive, and furious at herself for denying her daughter the chance to be a mother to her little boy! Nina plans to fight for at least shared custody of Wiley Corinthos (Erik and Theodore Olson) too, once she is able to do what is required, which will include DNA testing. She has no problem with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), her problem is with his mother, Carly!

GH Spoilers – Nina Reeves Calls Phyllis Caulfield To Update Her, And Gets Sonny Corinthos!

Nina, alone in her office after dismissing Jax, puts the two pieces of the split heart pendant together and puts both necklaces on. She then sadly calls Phyllis Caulfield, (Joyce Guy) the kind nurse who took care of her in Crichton-Clark and confirmed her daughter had lived and was adopted by a couple in Florida. Nina intended to update Phyllis that she had found her daughter, but unfortunately she was no longer alive, although she has a grandson. To Nina’s shock, Sonny answers the phone at the Tan-O! She would know his voice anywhere, and he answers as “Mike”!

Whether Nina knows that Sonny’s full name is Michael Corinthos, Jr. or not is a moot point – she knows his father’s name was Mike Corbin (Max Gail) and his son’s name is Michael, so it’s not much of a stretch! To be sure, Nina will likely make a visit to Pennsylvania to see “Mike” face to face and visit with Phyllis at the same time. Nina will have to take care not to let her emotions show when she sees Sonny, because she is plotting the perfect revenge on Carly. She knows that Phyllis would not agree in the least with her revenge plot, so she doesn’t want to let on what she’s thinking when she sees “Mike” in person.

She may be a little conflicted – after all, Carly is not the only person affected by Sonny’s presumed death. So is Michael, her grandson’s father, and little Avery Corinthos-Jerome, (Ava and Grace Scarola), and to a lesser extent, since he’s so little, even Wiley! Wiley is too little to really understand what’s going on with Grandpa Sonny except he’s not there anymore. But when she thinks of how Carly may have known Nelle was her daughter much longer than she claimed to, and kept it a secret, Nina knows what she must do – she will keep Sonny’s survival a secret until just the right time – maybe when Sonny finds his way back to Port Charles. Then and only then will she admit to Carly that she had known he was alive for a long time!
