In it, they pretty much hinted that they make a difference in the world and without the Queen’s help, too.

Buckingham Palace said that “in stepping away from the work of The Royal Family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to release their own statement, in which they said that the couple “remain committed to their duty and service to the U.K. and around the world, and have offered their continued support to the organizations they have represented regardless of official role. We can all live a life of service. Service is universal.”

Some royal critics say that by doing this, Harry and Meghan are proving that they plan on making an even bigger impact with their service and charitable work than what they already have been doing.
