Royal Family News: Prince Charles Hospital Visit To Prince Philip – Prepares To Be New King

British royal family news divulges that Prince Charles is the only member of the royal family thus far to visit his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, 99, in the hospital. Prince Philip was admitted more than a week ago to a London hospital as a precaution after feeling unwell.

Now reports are coming out that the visit was not merely a casual family affair but rather a significant meeting to discuss the future.

Philip reportedly called for his son to come to the hospital so that they could discuss the future of the monarchy.

According to Birmingham Live, royal expert Dickie Arbiter claimed that Prince Philip could have requested the visit from Charles as he prepares to take over the crown.

Arbiter told True Royalty, “I think it was at the request of the Duke that the Prince of Wales visited. He was just saying to Charles, ‘one day you are going to be the leading man of the family.'”

Arbiter continued to explain that the visit was, “To lay the ground. Look the man is 99, he is in with an infection. My guess is that he will come out, he will walk out and he will go back to Windsor.”

Royal Family News – Did Prince Philip Request A Visit From Charles?

Queen Elizabeth has not visited her husband and she and other members of the royal family have continued on with their duties since the duke was taken to the hospital.

The day after Philip was admitted, Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall visited the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham to learn about vaccination trials; both have been vaccinated as have Philip and Elizabeth.
