British royal family news shows that the much put-upon UK Royal Family is displaying a united front to mark Commonwealth Day and ahead of Prince Harry, Duke Of Sussex and Meghan Markle’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey on CBS on Sunday at 8 pm.
Showing the Markle traitors how family should act, the clan came together for a special Commonwealth program that will aired hours before the Sussexes’ gaudy Oprah interview. In it Kate Middleton praises frontline NHS staff who have toiled throughout the coronavirus crises.
Prince Charles will also pay tribute to the, “extraordinary determination, courage and creativity,” of people across the Commonwealth during the last year.
Royal Family News – The UK Royal Family Must Band Together
The American network CBS will air Harry and Meghan’s two-hour special in the US at 1am UK time on Monday morning and the UK channel ITV will rebroadcast the show at 9 pm that evening.
ITV has faced backlash for airing the special at the same time that Harry’s 99-year-old grandfather Prince Philip recovers from heart surgery in the hospital.
Several maudlin video promos have been released earning the Sussex’s scorn for their decision to air their dirty laundry. In one the Duchess of Sussex accuses The Firm of, “perpetuating falsehoods,” about her and Prince Harry.
Royal Family News – The Sussexes Are Talking To Oprah
Senior royals will release the Commonwealth Day celebration video on Sunday. The Queen, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Countess of Wessex and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge all will talk about the international impact the coronavirus pandemic has had.
A Celebration For Commonwealth Day will be on BBC One in the UK and globally on the BBC’s YouTube channel starting at 5 pm on Sunday.
In one clip Kate and William have a virtual talk with Dr. Zolelwa Sifumba, an advocate for the rights of healthcare workers on the front line.

Kate told the doctor, “Here in the UK there’s been masses of public recognition of the amazing work the front line are doing and it’s sad, almost, that it’s taken the pandemic for the public to really back and support all those working on the front line.”

Dr Sifumba responded, “We actually know the problems, we see the problems every day, you walk into work there are the problems.”
“The problem is our voices are not heard. We are on the front lines and we are expected to lift humanity. So my advice to everybody is, if you know a healthcare worker – any healthcare worker – you just love on them, love on them, love on them some more.”
