After The Walking Dead’s season 10 bonus episode Find Me aired this past weekend, show runner Angela Kang is teasing fans with the possibility that Leah may return again at a later date.
Yes, it sounds as if this wasn’t a one and done episode for Leah, the mystery woman from the cabin who appears to have stolen Daryl’s heart or at the very has occupied some serious space in his subconscious.
In Sunday’s episode, fans were finally able to learn what Daryl was doing all of those years as he looked for Rick alone. Part of his journey included Leah, a loner like Daryl, who also brought him his four legged friend, named Dog. It seems Leah has been trying to survive alone after losing her family.
The Walking Dead – Daryl Dixon & Leah’s Intense Connection
In the episode, the two share an intense relationship before she disappears one day. She appears to mean a lot to Daryl, who hasn’t said much about her until he shares his past and Leah with Carol when they come upon a cabin in the woods.
“I would say there was a very particular period of time, where things were pretty dark for both Daryl and this character, Leah,” Kang shared with Entertainment Weekly. Adding, “And I would just say that when things are intense and knowing that Daryl has not been in a lot of relationships, I think that there’s a particular intensity.
With love interests few and far between for Daryl in the series over the last 10 years, it was surprising to learn that Leah will eventually be back. “I hope that where the story eventually goes proves interesting and surprising,” Kang stated.

The Walking Dead – Will Leah Return In Season 11?
Kang then teases that fans may see her again. ”I’ll just say to watch season 11 as that comes along,” Kang said.
Discussing why the show decided to dig back into the past after waiting so long, it appears to be part of a larger storyline to come.
“And then there are twists to come, with the fallout from this. But yeah, it’s something that we were always interested in exploring,” Kang shared.
It looks like Daryl fans will have to wait and see what’s to come for Leah and Daryl. With only two episodes left of season 10’s bonus episodes, it will be a few months before we learn more. Season 11 of The Walking Dead is rumored to be returning sometime this coming summer on AMC.
