Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will get Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley) to open up to him about her recent trauma, that has caused everything in her life to go wrong, as she put it to Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) when he encountered her in Friday, February 16th’s episode. Rex saw a large scar at the base of her skull and asked her about it, and she said she’d been in a car accident last year.
That must have been quite some accident…that scar looks like she came very close to having been decapitated! If it had been any farther to the left, whatever happened could have severed her spine and caused her to become a paraplegic.
As it is, the scar is not in a place that could have affected her brain physically, such as the frontal lobe that is responsible for decision making and impulse control; it is closer to a part of the brain, the cerebellum, which affects balance and movement. Jordan definitely is not having problems with movement or physical balance; however, mental balance is quite another story indeed!

However, the more recent accident could have brought on a severe case of post-traumatic stress disorder and possibly some latent paranoid schizophrenia. Her thinking is extremely disordered, and she is acting out extremely violently. When Jordan was a young teenager, somehow something she did cause an accident in which her mother and other baby brother, fathered by Clyde Weston (James Read) were killed. Whether Jordan was learning to drive and at the wheel, or something else may have been what happened is unclear, but Clyde blamed her for it and lashed out at her, claiming it was intentional; and possibly threatened her with telling the authorities that she murdered her mother and baby brother.
From that point, she suffered abuse and molestation by Clyde, and little brother Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) was beaten frequently as well; Jordan, at that time known as Tammy Sue Weston, took Ben and went on the run to get away from Clyde and the abuse! This recent accident could have been a mental trigger back to the first accident, which is when all the abuse apparently started.
Rafe would be an easy person for Jordan to talk to and open up to, since they had a close relationship when she was in Salem previously, having started as his physical therapist and then their relationship having had evolved into more. Perhaps with Rafe’s help, Jordan will be able to get the help she needs and Days of Our Lives viewers will get the whole story of Jordan’s apparent psychotic breakdown. Stay tuned to Days of Our Lives and keep checking Days of Our Lives spoilers frequently to see how the Jordan Ridgeway storyline plays out!
