NCIS spoilers tease that in the next new NCIS episode, “Watchdog” Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) is under arrest – but why?
NCIS Spoilers – Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs Is Arrested For Aggravated Assault?
NCIS viewers know Jethro sometimes does things in unorthodox manners to solve crimes and catch bad guys, but this time he’s shown being cuffed for aggravated assault! What could have he done to bring that on? NCIS Inspector General Eugene Coyle (Hugo Armstrong) arrives at NCIS and he is there to take Gibbs into custody with a couple of underlings. There are little in the way of clues as to why in the promo for the next episode which will air March 16. However, spoilers for the new episode say that NCIS will discover a secret dogfighting ring, and one of the members of the team makes an unexpected move. Dr. Shawna Street (Nikki Crawford) says she hopes someone pays for this – but for what?
Promotional photos give a pretty good indication of what might be going on, but is Gibbs covering up for someone? It sounds like one of the team members might just lose his or her temper seeing a dog being mistreated, and one shows that Special Agent Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) is downstairs in Forensic Scientist Kasie Hines’ (Diona Reasonover) lab, but the question is, is the pooch evidence or did he just get lucky and find a furever home with Torres? Perhaps it’s a little bit of both! Longtime NCIS viewers would think that would sound more like something that former NCIS Forensic Scientist Abby Sciuto (Pauley Perrette) might do!
NCIS Spoilers – Did Someone Lose His Or Her Temper And Assault One Of The Dogfighting Handlers?
From the promo, it looks like in addition to Gibbs and Torres, Special Agent Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) is on the scene, as well as Special Agent Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop (Emily Wickersham). It’s Tim with the gun pointed, however. Ellie goes running to assist after he apparently fires it! If he shot a handler beating up on a dog, that could be construed as aggravated assault although animal lovers would say it was the dog who was getting assaulted!
The only problem is, the legal system does not provide for a defense plea when someone is protecting an animal! In one scene, Kasie is looking at an image of three retrieved bullet casings – but did they come from man, or from beast? Is the doctor, Dr. Shawna Street talking about someone having to pay for what they did to a person, or to a dog or multiple dogs? Everyone knows that dogfighting is cruel, and inhumane. Dogs are forced to fight to the death for the amusement of sick minded people, and that in itself is a crime and in many areas there are legal consequences! NCIS fans will have to be sure and not miss this compelling episode to find out what is going on and why Gibbs is arrested and Torres and Kasie have a pooch in the lab!
