British royal family news shows that after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle cried to Oprah about the poor state of their finances, a compassionate person tried to help them out.

Anastasia Hanson from California set up a GoFundMe page for the Markle’s who portrayed themselves as financially needy. It was set up two days after the couple’s stunning Oprah interview and titled, “Harry and Meghan $5 Donation to Buy Home (£3.61).”

The Sun reported that Hanson wrote on the page that the ‘jobless’ Duke and Duchess of Sussex had been going through a ‘very rough time’ after funding for their security and lifestyle was yanked by the Royal family.

Many thought the page was a joke, but Hanson insisted the page was legit and not a crack at the complaining pair.

It is not hard to imagine some people wanting to help the pair who made themselves sound like beleaguered orphans during their interview with Oprah which aired last Sunday in the U.S. and the following Monday in the UK.

Poor Prince Harry whined that the couple had been ‘cut off financially’ after he abandoned his family and country.

Prior to this the couple, who both are nearing 40, were taking handouts from his dad rather than working themselves.

Somehow they purchased a nine-bedroom, 16-bathroom mansion in Montecito, California, last year.

Hanson lives 25 minutes from the couple in Ventura and she told The Sun, “I like to help people and help them in any way I can. That gives me happiness. If you needed a home, I’d do the same for you. It’s a good deed.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex told Oprah Winfrey that they, ‘had no plan’ to ink multi-million-dollar deals with the ‘streamers’ when they first quit the royal family. But Harry chimed in that they were forced to make money when the royal family cut him off and took away his security.

He told Oprah, ‘I’ve got what my mum left me, and without that, we would not have been able to do this.’
