General Hospital Spoilers: Can Sonny Protect Lenny And Phyllis From Elijah?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is a man without a past. He does not know who he is because he has amnesia. Sonny was trying to find Julian Jerome (William deVry) in New Jersey. Julian had been involved with the explosion at the Floating Rib. Sonny found Julian on bridge. Sonny and Julian fell into the cold river after they had a fight. Later Julian was found dead.

However Sonny was not found. After a long search Sonny was considered to be dead. Sonny’s wife Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and best friend Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) held a funeral for Sonny. They had to hold the funeral to make sure to protect Sonny’s family position with the other mafia families in Port Charles. Sonny does not know that everyone that cares for him believes that he is dead.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Finds Friends With Lenny And Phyllis Caulfield

Sonny was found and brought to a hospital where he met Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy). She is a nurse in Nixon Falls, Pennsylvania. Phyllis attended to Sonny and helped him to figure out that his name might be Mike. Sonny was wearing the watch that his father Mike Corbin (Max Gail) had before he died. Phyllis brought Sonny as Mike to her family owned bar named The Tan-O. She introduced Sonny to her husband Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton). Lenny was unsure about Sonny at first. Lenny was concerned that Sonny might be a problem because Sonny was having issues with his bipolar disorder. Phyllis was able to recognize the signs and got Sonny the medication that he needed. Sonny has started to help Phyllis and Lenny at The Tan-O. He is grateful for their kindness to him.

GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos Helps Phyllis and Lenny Caulfield

Sonny was watching over The Tan-O when a customer that was drunk wanted to go back his hotel. Sonny offered to get the customer back safely but during that time The Tan-O was robbed and ransacked. Lenny and Phyllis were upset about the destruction. They did not know how they would pay for the damages. Sonny wanted to help Phyllis and Lenny. He got into a poker game by pawning his wedding ring and other ring. Sonny was able to get the money for the repairs by playing poker.

Phyllis and Lenny have a friend named Elijah Crowe (Dan White). He is a developer who owns a strip mall in Corinth, Pennsylvania. He wanted to buy The Tan-O. Elijah made an offer to Lenny and Phyllis. They had been considering the offer until Sonny was able to get the money together to fix the damage to The Tan-O. Phyllis and Lenny told Elijah that they did not want to sell their family business. Elijah seemed to take the news well. Elijah left The Tan-O but called someone to try to find out Sonny’s identity.
