Law & Order: Special Victims Unit spoilers tease that Christopher Meloni, as Elliot Stabler, will crossover from Law & Order: Organized Crime to multiple Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episodes!
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Spoilers – Elliot Stabler And Olivia Benson Were Partners For Over Twelve Seasons
The iconic partnership between Detectives Elliot Stabler and Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) lasted for over twelve seasons on SVU during which Benson and Stabler became very close friends. This is not surprising, since police partners are frequently in life and death situations together and they become either like siblings or sometimes they couple up, although it always remained platonic between the married Stabler and the single Benson. In the pilot of Law & Order: Organized Crime, which takes place on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on April 1, after not seeing one another or being in contact for ten years, Benson and Stabler suddenly intersect once again while being involved investigating the same crime scene.
In the promo, a car appears to be on fire and the firemen and paramedics are trying to rescue victims and render aid, and Stabler suddenly spots Benson and calls out to her. She hears him calling out “Liv”, which was always his nickname for her, and she appears almost in shock, and says to herself, “Elliot!” The two former partners soon find each other and catch up, and later he has lunch with the other remaining SVU member since he left, Detective Odafin “Fin” Tutola (Ice-T) and talks about why he left so suddenly and some about what has happened since. Fin, Benson, and Stabler will also talk about why Stabler decided to re-enter the police force, where now he is heading up an organized crime unit.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Spoilers – Elliot Stabler Will Cross Over To Many SVU Episodes
Showrunner Warren Leight as well as Christopher Meloni have spoken out about more scenes having been filmed with Benson and Stabler together. Leight tweeted that they had shot three Benson/Stabler scenes on a particular day, and confirmed to a viewer who asked when those scenes would air that they were filmed for a Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode “down the road”. For now, Stabler’s re-introduction will be in the episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit called “Return of the Prodigal Son” which serves as Law & Order: Organized Crime’s pilot episode. The Special Victims Unit supports Stabler in his mission to track down a mobster who has been threatening his family. The Law & Order:

Organized Crime episode to follow will show what Stabler has gone through leading up to his re-entry into police work, and details a devastating personal loss which was his impetus to do so. Stabler joins this high-level organized crime task force as he attempts to put the pieces of his life back together. His, and the task force’s mission is to dismantle one of the city’s largest organized crime syndicates. It is unclear exactly how many times Stabler will show up on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit after the crossover at this time, but we do know there were three more scenes as noted previously. These scenes have been said to be for two different episodes.
