General Hospital Spoilers tease that at the moment, neither Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) nor Elizabeth Webber is in any position to be looking for a new romance but they may surprise themselves and each other as they work together to save Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).
As viewers know, Chase was poisoned by Peter August (Wes Ramsey) to keep Anna DeVane (Finola Hughes) from continuing her plans to bring Peter to justice for his many crimes. Peter has a cure of sorts, that he will continue to provide Anna as long as she does as Peter asks. But the serum really is just keeping Chase alive. But each dose wears off in time, which puts Chase right back in danger.
General Hospital Spoilers – Dr. Hamilton Finn Had No Choice But To Tell Elizabeth Webber About The poison!
Finn has been warned by Anna that no one can find out that Peter poisoned Chase or Peter will stop providing the drug that is keeping Chase alive and until a real cure is found, it’s the only thing that is keeping Chase alive. Recently, as Chase’s symptoms worsened and it seemed as though he wouldn’t survive Elizabeth watched as Finn took a vial of the substance from Anna and gave it to Chase. Chase was soon out of danger for the time being, but when Elizabeth asked Finn what was going on, he shut her down and had her reassigned. But Elizabeth wasn’t having it and threaten to go to her union unless Finn came clean. So Finn had no choice but to confide in Elizabeth.
GH Spoilers – Elizabeth Webber Finally Discovered That Peter August killed Her husband!
Peter also killed Elizabeth’s husband, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) but Elizabeth had believed that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was the culprit. Realizing just how wrong she had been to accuse Jason, Elizabeth will now turn her attention to the real killer. But in the meantime, now that she knows the truth she can help Finn keep Chase alive. Despite not wanting her to get involved, Finn will soon be glad that he will have help. Perhaps with Elizabeth in the know, she can focus on Chase while Finn finds a real cure. In addition, Finn will have someone he can confide in. A cure will eventually be found and Peter brought to justice and when that happens, perhaps the bond between Elizabeth and Finn will have grown to the point where start to realize they have feelings for each other. Neither of them is looking for anything romantic at the moment, but that may change as time passes.

I am a Forever Liason Fan….BUT… at this point, I just want Elizabeth to stay on screen and on the front burner! I’m not sure how I feel about Finn and Elizabeth…. seems just good friends right now …. I’m always open to a good story for Elizabeth, and I love Finn. It WOULD be good to see Elizabeth and a Dr. have a relationship. I know she was with the Dr. that Jason had to rescue her from. But, he was a bad person, so not a good match for Elizabeth. It would be nice to know a Dr. that was a decent human being, could be interested in Elizabeth!
I never felt the Jason/Elizabeth pairing was that great, but I do feel that after all this time and having children with no present fathers, that Liz should be given a stable, upright partner to aid in the raising of her children and be a good husband to her. Of course that was achieved with the Franco character, but his past was just a little too shady for a truly successful fan approved Liz pairing in my opinion.
