General Hospital Spoilers: Scott Receives Heartfelt Message From Gail Baldwin – Nostalgic Walk Down Memory Lane

General Hospital - Scott Baldwin [Kin Shriner]General Hospital spoilers tease that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) will receive a heartfelt message from his late stepmother Dr. Gail Adamson Baldwin (Susan Brown), which should make him feel good, and nostalgic as well! (Maybe she’ll even say something about that lawn furniture he’s been so worried about)!

One thing that appears to be certain to be a topic of discussion is Scott’s first wedding – to Laura Collins (Genie Francis)! Their first wedding is shown in the General Hospital 56th Anniversary promo!

Scotty, as he was known back then and Laura got married at a very young age. Scott is a little bit older than Laura, he was a law student and she was only 17 when they got married. Laura started working at “The Campus Disco”, a nightclub ran by bad boy Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) to help pay Scotty’s way through law school.

Longtime General Hospital viewers will recall the historic events that happened after that, with Laura being first raped by Luke, she and Scotty’s marriage coming to an end, and a couple of years later Luke and Laura’s huge wedding that was taped by millions of GH viewers, and Scotty getting there too late to stop it! The rape ignited a years long feud between Scotty and Luke! Scotty and Laura remarried one time, in 2013, but the marriage lasted only a year; he divorced her.

Longtime General Hospital viewers are sure to see many nostalgic scenes that they remember, and even if events in the past and Scott and Laura’s memories are only spoken about, they should spark memories for the viewers as well.

Scott undoubtedly will talk about Gail herself as well, as will Laura, because Gail and Scott’s late father, Lee Baldwin (Peter Hansen) were always very involved in the young couples’ marriage, and even after their divorce they were very involved with Scott and Laura both!

Scott doesn’t seem to be lucky in love, with his two marriages to Laura ending in divorce, and his other marriage to Dominique (Shell Danielson) ending with her death from a brain tumor; perhaps Gail’s heartfelt wish to him is for his happiness and a love that lasts!
