Royal Family News: Prince Harry Ditches Meghan and the Kids to Play Polo

British royal family news shows that Prince Harry left his wife and family behind in California for a surprise trip to be with his friend Nacho Figueras at a polo tournament in Colorado. Harry’s attendance didn’t come cheap either, as he pledged more than £1million to the charity involved with the tournament.

Harry Duke of Sussex competed in the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup in Aspen yesterday. Colorado is lovely this time of year, perfect for a family getaway. Maybe Harry needed a little me time?

Prince Harry did well for himself, scoring two goals, and the charity said it raised over £2million breaking their old record.

Harry co-founded the charity and the £1.1million pledge he made allegedly will come from sales of his memoir. It was his first public appearance since his daughter Lilibet was born on June 4. For some reason, Harry and Meghan’s pet journalist Omid Scobie, tweeted the grand news: “Prince Harry is back on the field.” Isn’t that kind of publicity mongering what the couple’s two-continent contingent of PR hacks is paid to do? Wouldn’t it be comical if Scobie Doo is actually on the Markle’s payroll, all the while pretending to be a journalist? Hilarious.

Scobie wasn’t done talking up the mouthy couple, saying on Wednesday that the thirsty pair are ready to enter a new, “era of visibility,” with a more, “intentionally public,” life. For good measure he added, “They’re a couple who do very well in those moments of human interaction.”

I honestly do hope he is paid to communicate this drivel. Otherwise what is the point in sounding like a puppet for a couple of muppets?

Scobie went on to further clarify that, “They need to be on the ground… they say that the proof is in the pudding, and what we are about to see is that pudding.”

Proving that he does talk when needed, Prince Harry, said of the charity, “Our refocused mission at Sentebale is about addressing the most-immediate needs of vulnerable children in Southern Africa, helping them access vital health services, receive necessary care, and build skills to be more resilient and self-sufficient in the future.”

“We are incredibly grateful to our gracious hosts in Aspen, to ISPS Handa and the many other sponsors, and to everyone involved in making this year’s match not only possible—but most importantly, as safe as possible for the protection of donors, players, staff, and the entire community.”

Here’s an idea, why not donate all the money that went into a tournament in which grown men got all sweaty tromping around on horses for their own merriment? Sorry, that wouldn’t be very fun for the millionaire polo players, would it?
