British royal family news shows that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s high-paid and often used lawyers are at it again, earning their pay and their keep. Today the crew came out to deny that the thirsty pair, “reignited a rift,” with the monarchy.
According to the MailOnline, the latest fanning of the flames of controversy and innuendo has to do with the updated version of their bio Finding Freedom. Do we really need an updated version of a love letter penned to the couple by their pet journalist and another writer who has stayed strangely silent about her involvement in the unabashedly saccharine tome?
Prince Harry’s Lawyers Are At It Again
Specifically, the updated version of the bio, “suggests the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were ‘not surprised’ at a perceived lack of action over their claim that a senior royal expressed ‘concern’ about their unborn child’s skin colour.”
The claim was made in an ugly tirade filled rant against his family during a tell-all with Oprah Winfrey.
Following their claims, many of which were immediately disproven, Queen Elizabeth, “expressed concern for the couple but insisted that ‘some recollections may vary.’”
Prince William told reporters that the royals were, “very much not a racist family.”
Royal Family News – Harry’s Lawyers Are Talking
Harry’s legal posse today told MailOnline, “that it was false and defamatory to claim the couple have ‘reignited a rift’ with the Queen – or to suggest or imply that they have made any statements to that effect.”
According to the lawyers, “the authors of the book, Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand … do not speak for the Sussexes and rely on unnamed sources.”

Scobie Doo quickly got in on the action, tweeting, “Back at this rodeo and, predictably, words are already being twisted. The comments made by a SOURCE (a detail some outlets have purposefully ignored) was about a lack of ownership from the royal institution as a whole. There’s no ‘attack’ against the Queen anywhere in the book.”
Let’s present the FACTS and you can be the judge of who said what and why. An excerpt from the book to be published in People claims that the couple believe senior royals have not taken “accountability.”
The extract reads, “Those three words, ‘recollections may vary’, did not go unnoticed by the couple, who a close source said were ‘not surprised’ that full ownership was not taken. ‘Months later and little accountability has been taken,’ a pal of Meghan’s added. ‘How can you move forward without that?’”
