There are a lot of theories circulating social media, everything from man problems to Eric only reconciling out of loneliness. However, clues were dropped during that episode. Eric knows that he’s already lost Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer).

B&B spoilers reveal that Quinn told Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) that she didn’t know if she could leave him. However, Carter said that she knew what she had to do. The two told each other that they loved one another and Carter walked away, leaving Quinn sobbing. Since Quinn went back to Eric, she has been thinking of nothing but Carter. Meanwhile, Carter still has Quinn on his mind.

B&B Spoilers – Knowing Quinn Forrester

Eric told Quinn that he knows what she is feeling just by looking at her face. Eric explained that he knows her that well. That was one hint right there that Eric was aware of the truth. Quinn mentioned that she would never betray his loyalty again and used words such as dedication and commitment. The one phrase she didn’t use was being “in love,” though. As many fans know, “love” and “in love” are two different things.

Then, Quinn came downstairs dressed in lingerie but found Eric asleep. As Quinn covered him up and went back upstairs, Eric opened his eyes. The Forrester patriarch was clearly heartbroken as tears streamed down his face.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Eric knows he has lost Quinn to Carter already. He will try to win back her love by fiercely defending Quinn to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). Even though Quinn appreciates the effort, it’s too late. Quinn’s heart now belongs to Carter and Eric knows it.

B&B Spoilers – Reunion With Blessing

Eric was angry about Quinn and Carter’s betrayal before. Now that he realizes how he sabotaged his own marriage, he may change his perspective. He loves Quinn with all of his heart but he wants her to love him just as much. Quinn might be physically with Eric, but her heart and mind are with Carter. We know that Eric is going to tell Quinn a long-hidden truth. Perhaps he has always known he’d lose Quinn one day.
