Fans of the American soap opera, One Life to Live will no doubt remember Erika Slezak. She played the role of Victoria “Viki” Lord on the sudser from 1971 through the television finale in 2012. Erika also reprised her role as Viki in the online revival in 2013. She is now thrilled to be playing a role in an upcoming Hallmark Channel Christmas movie, Next Stop Christmas.

Slezak is one of the longest-serving serial actors in American media, known for her role of Victoria “Viki” Lord on the American daytime soap opera One Life to Live. She played the role from 1971 through the television finale in 2012 and the online revival in 2013. During her time on the soap opera, Erika went on to win the Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series award at the Daytime Emmys on a number of occasions.

The news that Erika Slezak will star in the Christmas movie Next Stop Christmas was announced on Erika Slezak’s website. The post read, “It’s not a big part, but a nice one and we’ll be shooting in Essex, CT.”

About The Christmas Movie

As at the time of writing, there are scarce details about the Christmas movie Next Stop Christmas, other than the fact that Slezak is starring. No other cast members have been announced and the film’s synopsis is yet to be revealed. However, we do know a casting call is currently in process and the deadline for applying is September 12, 2021.

We also understand that the film will be part of the Hallmark Channel’s annual slate of Christmas movies, set to air from November until the end of this year. Filming will be ongoing in Connecticut through October 22.
