Y&R Spoilers – Done With Love Games

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, Bergman explained that Jack is just so done with the romantic games. He wants to tell a woman that he is interested in her and show her who he really is. In exchange, he wants the woman to do the same with him instead of all these games people play. Does such a woman in Genoa City even exist? Bergman told the magazine that he’s not sure if she does.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Jack actually made two confessions to Phyllis, not just one. Everyone knows that Jack admitted to Phyllis that he’s still in love with her. However, he also mentioned that he was hoping Sally would turn into Phyllis. Viewers do agree that Sally and Phyllis are a lot alike, both physically and in how they operate.

The difference is that Phyllis doesn’t try to hurt people anymore unless they have come after someone she cares about. One example is Phyllis going after Sally and Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) for targeting Summer Newman (Hunter King).

Y&R Spoilers – What Does He Really Want?

This brings up the question of what it is that Jack really wants. Is it Sally, Phyllis or something else? Bergman teased to the magazine that Jack is just feeling really lonely and lost right now. He was thinking back to the times when he was really happy and when he was truly in love, and that was when he was with Phyllis. Sally just happened to remind Jack of Phyllis. The fact that in the dream he tells Sally that their failed romance is not his fault makes it clear that she’s in his past, not his future.

However, Bergman is careful to mention that love isn’t necessary for Jack’s next chapter. He’s in a difficult place and is trying to find his bearings. He is suddenly in an empty house and it feels like he’s on a deserted island. However, Jack’s confession to Phyllis will have complications, especially when Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) angrily confronts him. What Jack doesn’t realize until later is that Nick only appears in a nightmare, not real life.

How is Jack going to fix this? Jack calls someone and asks to meet so they can talk, but it’s not Phyllis… it’s Nick.
