General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that TJ Ashford’s portrayer, Tajh Bellow, stars on a new romantic comedy titled Calling for Love.

The actor shared an Instagram post and urged her fans to watch the new movie. He captioned his post, “See you there!” The film will premiere on Sunday, October 17 on UPtv. He’ll play the role of Jake in the movie that’s directed by, Kristen Fairweather.

The story centers on Jake, a mechanic who helped fix the car of a mystery woman. He feels like he missed an opportunity to connect with the woman so he calls on a radio show to help him track down the mystery lady. As expected, things won’t go according to plan but there’ll definitely be a lot of romance.

Other cast members include Karissa Lee Staples, who will play the role of Sam, Carolyn Hennesy as Mercy Lewis, and Emily Vere Nicoll takes on the role of Becky, Jake’s mystery woman.

GH Spoilers – Actors Who Played TJ Ashford

Bellow was recast for the role of TJ Ashford back in 2018. His other acting credits include 9-1-1, Bosch, Lone Star, and NCIS. Krys Meyer debuted the role of TJ in General Hospital in early 2012. He played the part for about half a year and left after reportedly landing a new acting gig.

His character was immediately recast and Tequan Richmond was tapped to become his replacement. He played the role the longest and earned a nomination for an NAACP Image Award and a Daytime Emmy.

As for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he’ll leave Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) alone in Port Charles as she tries to reconnect with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Jason will head to Greece to help Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Carly thinks his departure is for the best given that Sonny is still reeling from learning the truth about her relationship with Jason.
