The royal commentator, known as Lady C., insists that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have not succeeded in making friends among their billionaire neighbors.

“Last night, I was at something in London with some very very famous stars who have a place in Montecito,” recalled Lady C. “And of course, Meghan and Harry’s names came up.” The royal family expert then revealed that the gossip confirmed what her other friends have shared. 

“Other friends of mine, who know the Montecito scene or have places in Montecito, [have said that] the billionaires don’t want to touch them, nobody wants to touch them,” claimed Lady C. Ironically, that gossip takes place just as Meghan and Prince Harry have worked to establish their new celebrity profiles.

Why Do Neighbors Allegedly Avoid Meghan Markle And Harry?

As to precisely why Meghan Markle’s and Prince Harry’s would want to avoid them, Lady C did not clarify. But other royal family experts feel that Meghan and Harry have overdone their efforts to boost their public profile. One insider, for instance, pointed to Markle’s and Harry’s recent visit to New York. That occasion combined meeting with the mayor and news of a commitment to become “impact partners” at a sustainable investment company.

As a result of such efforts, insiders believe that Meghan and Harry have made others “nervous” about what they will do next.
