The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that our inside source at CBS is hearing rumblings about bringing back a fan fave couple. The only hitch is that another couple might get their walking papers. According to our source, there is chatter about bringing back Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) and Maya Avant (Karla Mosley). The couple left to live and work in Paris but after being offscreen, Maya returned to town and announced their relationship was over.

B&B Spoilers – Rick Forrester And Maya Avant Eventually Married

Rick discovered the truth when a tabloid exposed Maya’s secret and in turn Maya ran away, afraid that Rick would reject her. After a dramatic period of angst and confusion they worked out what they wanted their relationship to be and planned their nuptials. If only it were that easy!

Relatives from both families had issues with the relationship and put up major roadblocks. Eventually the happy couple tied the knot.

Alas, their happiness was not meant to last. Rick and Maya split in 2018, and Maya returned to Los Angeles while Rick stayed in Paris. The breakup was a surprise to fans as the couple were off living their best life offscreen, so there seemed to be no reason for the breakup seeing as how neither character was rewritten into the day to day storyline.

The Bold And The Beautiful spoilers – What Happens Next In LA?

Mosley was last seen on B&B as Maya in 2019. There is a solid fan base for these two and bringing them back now would make a lot of sense. There would be the dramatic friction of a couple trying to find their way back to each other, and Maya would have to deal with her sexy and available ex Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) at the same time. Plus, can there ever be too much testosterone at Forrester Creations? We’d love it if Rick brought back with an even bigger ego than the one he left with and started throwing his weight around.

The only downside to this return scenario is that the show is considering letting go of another onscreen couple, according to our CBS insider, presumably to make room story wise.
