Of course, Paulina’s reasons for doting on Lani and the “Elani” twins were out of guilt, not that she loved Chanel less than her secret sister.

It is teased that Lani will feel like her entire world has fallen apart. In Lani’s mind, she has no mother as Paulina kept this huge secret while Tamara Price (Marilyn McCoo) wasn’t her mother at all. Lani also lost her father, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) as well as her brother, Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson). Add to the fact that everyone in the family knew about this, including Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs), and Lani feels like her whole life has been a lie.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of November 29 confirm that Lani pays Kristen a visit in jail. Lani and Kristen became best friends while hiding out in an Italian convent. They continued their odd friendship after returning to Salem. However, that all fell apart when Kristen went on the run and Lani was forced to bring her into the police station. Kristen actually had the nerve to ask that Lani once again help her. At that time, Lani knew she couldn’t risk losing her family, career and freedom as she had done for Kristen so many times before.

Of course, once Lani found out what Kristen had been up to while on the run – imprisoning and impersonating Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) while terrorizing innocent Salemites, Lani was done.

Due to Lani’s world spiralizing out of control, Lani feels that she needs a friend to talk to. For some reason, Lani decides that Kristen is the person she should turn to.

DOOL Spoilers – Good Cop Turns Bad?

Kristen is currently trying to coerce Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) into helping her escape. Gwen will work with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and the duo will end up recruiting a third person. That third party isn’t Lani, but a Department of Corrections employee.

However, if Lani’s emotional and mental health continues to spiral over the parentage bombshell, then she could end up making some surprising decisions. Due to her intense anger, could we see Lani go bad?
