The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Mia And Arturo’s Baby News Opens Door For Mom, Celeste Rosales

Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) and Arturo Gonzales (Jason Canela) are having a baby on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Y&R’s paternity test results ruled out Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) as the father, which will allow ‘Marturo’ to move back to Miami, Florida. However, the Rosales family isn’t shrinking by three, but only by one.

Starting with five Rosales family members (Arturo, Rey, Lola, Sasha Calle, Mia, and her baby), fans believed that three were going to be subtracted with no new additions. Thankfully, Y&R’s first newly created family within this decade is adding a member, that being Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue).

Celeste is Ray, Arturo, and Lola’s mother. Very little has been said about her since Arturo became the first Rosales to arrive last year in Genoa City. He, Rey, and Lola more often mentioned how their father had wronged and abandoned their mother and them.

LaRue is a veteran actor, whose first credit was in 1986. Her debut on ‘The Love Boat’ was followed by an initial soap role in 1988, where she played Margot Collins on ‘Santa Barbara’. LaRue also appeared in various other television shows including ‘Dallas’, ‘Diagnosis Murder’, and ‘George Lopez’, and was in feature films.

LaRue played Maria Santos on ‘All My Children’ from 1993 through 2011. She was Natalia Boa Vista on ‘CSI: Miami’ from 2005 through 2012. LaRue has continued to work regularly before recently being cast on this iconic steamer as Celeste.

Y&R Spoilers: How Will Rey And Lola Rosales React To The Arrival Of Their Mother

It will be interesting to see how Rey and Lola’s lives are impacted by their mother’s arrival. To this point in this life, Rey has been filling an authority role for his younger siblings.

Vilasuso’s character is finally exiting a relationship that he thought he left behind in Miami. But Mia followed him to Wisconsin before again breaking his heart. Rey’s embrace of Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is the follow through on what Y&R has been building up to across many months.

Lola has achieved happiness with her seeming true love. But life with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) isn’t smooth. Lola’s organ donor and nemesis, Summer still-Abbott (Hunter King), isn’t over Kyle yet and may never be.

Separate from family matters and whatever her career may be, or become, Celeste will surely catch the eyes of various eligible bachelors in GC. Just as Rey and Lola have found love, so too will Celeste, eventually.
