Coronation Street Spoilers: Curtis Begs Emma Not To Give Up On Him

Coronation Street has aired more drama for Curtis’ Mental Disorder storyline as he confessed to his crimes but pleaded with Emma not to leave him.

With its rare Thursday (December 16) episode, Curtis Delamere (Sam Retford) bowed his head in defeat when his wife-to-be Emma Brooker (Alexandra Marsell) confronted him that she already knew the truth and she needed him to confess or they’re over.

Curtis didn’t know Emma had met with Neville (Mark Cameron) where she got confirmation about his real status. Viewers knew Curtis claimed his biological father is already dead, and that Neville is his stepdad but the good Samaritan dropped the bombshell revelations to Emma that he’s Curtis’ biological father and that his son is mentally ill. He warned Emma to get out of the situation while she can.

As Emma and Curtis’ confrontation intensified, Curtis explained how his constant lies started with his parent’s divorce. He pretended to be sick and when he got the attention he wanted, it was addictive.

“I know I’m not sick in a physical sense, but I am sick. Please don’t give up on me Emma…” he begged.

After hearing Curtis’ confession, Emma was determined to cut ties with him and demanded he pack his things and gets lost as his lies caused so much pain that she can no longer trust him anymore. But is it the case?

Looking for her dad, Steve Mcdonald (Simon Gregson) for a heart-to-heart talk, Emma was oblivious she’d be the one who’d received surprising news.

When she was about to drop the revelation about Curtis, she was overcome with grief when she saw Steve trying his wedding suit on.

Steve revealed that Curtis raised the remaining £4,000 in completion for the charity inspired by Steve’s late son Oliver.

“This is why he’s perfect for you, he’s big-hearted and thinks of others,” Steve cheerfully said.

Just with that achievement, Emma as a martyr had a change of heart and told Curtis she’s sticking around with the conditions he’ll seek professional help, and that he can no longer lie to her ever. Did she make a grave mistake?

‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Viewers Are Protesting Against Emma’s Decision

Although Emma was quick to forgive Curtis, Corrie fans are not happy with the barmaid’s decision.

“Don’t tell me they actually make it to the altar?” a fan commented.

Most viewers protested Emma deserves a happy ever after for being the sweetest and kindest person on the cobbles.

“She’s going to end up getting hurt,” another fan reckoned.
