British royal family news shows that the heir to the chair, Prince William, appeared on Royal Marsden Hospitals’ Radio Marsden and let loose. As much as a royal is allowed to get funky.
What did he have to say about his own kin? Apparently William spilled about one of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s many, many rules.

The Duke of Cambridge was on the show answering questions from young patients of The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. He also told radio host Barry Alston about some of his favored holiday moments and traditions. As part of this expose, he spilled about two games that he and his wife Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, enjoy playing with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis during the festive season.
Royal Family News – Prince William Spills On A Royal Tradition
According to Prince William, who will one day be King of England, he and Kate like to play the board games Risk and Monopoly. Then he cutely added that, “some people get quite cross when they lose.” We’re pretty sure he’s not talking about himself but you never know.
Interestingly enough, William’s uncle, Prince Andrew, has suggested the royals, “aren’t allowed,” to play the game at home.

Royal Family News – Prince William Likes Risk
It was back in 2008 when The Telegraph reported that Andrew, the Duke of York, was on a visit to Leeds Building Society’s refurbished Albion Street headquarters. There he was given a gift of a Monopoly game. He allegedly said, “We’re not allowed to play Monopoly at home. It gets too vicious.” So it may be that he said it just in jest, because we all know how savage some family members can get trying to score Boardwalk, etc. I’ve only seen such behavior, never indulged in it myself.
On another note, there looks to be no royal family gathering at Sandringham this year. The queen’s traditional Christmas party there has been cancelled. Last week her Christmas Lunch was cancelled and it was said the plans for the Sandringham event would be announced early this week. So there you have it, 2021 is beginning to look an awful lot like 2020 all over again.
