5 Ways Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Hogged The 2021 Headlines

British royal family news shows that Harry and Meghan aka the Duke and Duchess of Sussex kept themselves in the headlines in 2021 via a series of cringe, awkward and frankly humiliating rants and actions. And the year’s not over yet! Plus, in 2022 we have the specter of Harry’s bombshell memoir to look forward to (or not if one is a royal).

Here’s a look back at the some of the more ludicrous performances from the Ginge and Whinge Show starting with Princess Pinocchio cold calling US congressmen. Say what? A former game show extra having the nerve to dial actual VIPS and beg them to do her bidding? Needless to say, when the politicians heard the voice on the other end say she was the Duchess of Excess, they were flabbergasted and wasted no time outing Megs to the media. Ouch.

Royal Family News – Meghan Has No Reservations

In response to Megxit, Buckingham Palace issued a statement telling the Markle’s not to let the door hit them on the way out: “Following conversations with The Duke, The Queen has written confirming that in stepping away from the work of The Royal Family it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service. While all are saddened by their decision, The Duke and Duchess remain much loved members of the family.”

Royal Family News – Buh Bye Markles

In 2021 the Times broke a story about allegations that Markle bullied palace staff. Megs clapped back that she was simply a victim of a, “calculated smear campaign.” That’s right, keep it classy Meghan. Unfortunately an investigation into the claims was launched and it has not yet been resolved.

Meghan later told Fox News, “She is determined to continue her work building compassion around the world and will keep striving to set an example for doing what is right and doing what is good.”

Then last month Markle went on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and tried to out-Bozo the clown in the streets of LA. Upon hearing Ellen’s commands, she went Stepford Meghan and pranced around, chugged from a baby bottle, and told street vendors she liked it “hot.” It was humiliating and she hasn’t been seen in public since. Except for her minutes-long shopping appearance dressed like an Artic dweller.

Royal Family News – Meghan Likes It Hot

This summer it was Harry who made news when it was leaked that he is writing a memoir for Random House. It’s, “an intimate and heartfelt memoir,” to be released in 2022. “I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become,” swore Harry.
