General Hospital: Laura Collins (Genie Francis)General Hospital spoilers tease that in this week’s General Hospital Sneak Peek, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) comes to the Corinthos compound and gives Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard ) devastating news about Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary)!

General Hospital Spoilers – This Is The First Time Laura Collins And Sonny Corinthos Have Seen Each Other

General Hospital viewers know that this is the first time that Laura and Sonny have seen each other – Laura and her brother Martin Grey (Michael E.Knight) went into protection and have just recently returned! General Hospital viewers will see that in Sonny’s kitchen, he isn’t able to hide the signs of his drinking before Laura arrives, as one of his guards announces “Mayor Collins” and Sonny looks up and says “huh”. Sonny turns around and sees Laura and greets her with a “hey, good to see you, Laura!” and goes to give her a hug which she gladly reciprocates and she’s very glad to see him as well. Laura tells Sonny she’s so glad he’s home – she says when she thought she was never going to see him again it was such a terrible feeling; Sonny smiles and tells her he missed her too.

GH Spoilers – Laura Collins Notices Sonny Corinthos Has Liquor On The Breakfast Bar

General Hospital viewers next see Laura notice the liquor on the breakfast bar, and notes to Sonny she sees he’s poured himself a drink, and with the terrible news she has she probably could use one too. Sonny sighs, and tells Laura “yeah” in response to her comment about the drink, and Laura looks very sad, on the verge of tears, knowing nothing about the trouble between Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Sonny. Laura gently asks Sonny if he’s heard the news – and he asks, “what news?” – Laura obviously dreads being the one to tell Sonny about Luke’s demise, and she steels herself as best she can. Longtime General Hospital viewers will remember that Sonny and Luke, and Laura, go back for many years, with them getting to know Sonny after he came to Port Charles to take over Frank Smith’s (George Gaines) mob territory. Sonny and Luke became best friends.

General Hospital Spoilers – Laura Collins Tells Sonny Corinthos The Terrible News

General Hospital viewers then see Laura trying to hold back her tears, but she’s not successful. General Hospital viewers could easily guess the news she has for Sonny is very, very bad even if they didn’t know Luke had died in that cable car accident in Austria, which Sonny has obviously not heard about. It doesn’t take Sonny long to guess what Laura has come to tell him when she responds to his question about the news almost breaking down right in front of him!

Laura sighs deeply, and says she’s kind of – and her voice trails off-she tells Sonny she’s sorry she has to tell him this, and then she tells him it’s about Luke. She breaks down in tears as Sonny asks her if Luke died; she sobs as she tells him yes, and Sonny takes a deep breath and tells her he’s so sorry as he hugs her; both have tears in their eyes!
