56-year-old Piers Morgan is back and writing for The Sun after he says that Meghan Markle tried to cancel him. The opinionated commentator says “Pushy little Princess Pinocchio” tried her damnedest to cancel him.
Nine months after the TV personality refused to apologize to the Duchess of Sussex, which ultimately got him axed from his seat on Good Morning Britain, he’s back and this time, he’s Uncensored.
Keep reading and we’ll fill you in on the nitty-gritty.
Piers Morgan Will Not Be Censored Anymore
The former Good Morning Britain star is launching his new Uncensored column in The Sun next week and has promised to have the last word on Meghan Markle whom he calls “Pushy Little Princess Pinocchio.”
“Effectively I was censored at my previous job and told to apologise to Meghan Markle for an honestly held opinion, which obviously I wasn’t going to do,” he says, adding, “Pushy little Princess Pinocchio tried her utmost to cancel me, and she will be in for a very unpleasant surprise when I emerge, like Lazarus, from my den.”
The former Britain’s Got Talent star said that his stint with Good Morning Britain was a “bruising experience” but that he’s now working somewhere that he’s free to express his opinions.
Piers Morgan Going After the ‘Woke Brigade’ of Cancel Culture
Still discussing his column, the snarky Brit explains that “people are sick of being told what to find funny, how to dress, what to drink, how to behave, what books they can read, what movies they can enjoy.” Calling out those who would censor him Morgan says, “The woke brigade have a narrow, humorless, draconian view, it’s a form of fascism.”

“The woke worm is turning,” he says, adding that subscribers to The Sun are “sick and tired of being told what to do or think.” The former The Apprentice star explains that he wants to “single-handedly lead the charge” against cancel culture.
During his six years with Good Morning Britain Piers gave a huge boost to the show’s ratings. While he was there, the show’s ratings nearly tripled. In fact, since Morgan left in March the ITV breakfast show’s ratings have plummeted. Not long after, it came to light that the Duchess of Sussex has personally contacted ITV chief Carolyn McCall requesting that Piers be fired.
