Real Housewives Of Orange County (RHOC) star Heather Dubrow returned to the Bravo show, and that means fans see more of her husband Terry Dubrow. Considered a leading plastic surgeon, fans know that he’s no stranger to reality TV. After all, he had his own show, Botched, which also features Paul Nassif. But, is he now profiting from the shortage of COVID home antigen tests?
RHOC – Heather And Terry Dubrow Are Not Short of A Dollar
Season 16 of The Real Housewives Of Orange County came along without Tamra Judge, Braunwyn Windham-Burke, Vicki Gunvalson, Elizabeth Lyn Vargas, and Kelly Dodd. However Heather returned. Andy Cohen described her return as “a great way to keep it fresh but also keep it familiar in a really positive way.” Well, some fans agree, but others just want new fresh faces. Or at least, if nothing else, Kelly Dodd. Well, she didn’t hanker for a return a much as Andy, according to her podcast, Heather Dubrow’s World.
Anyway, now that she returned to RHOC, Bravo fans hanker for news about her family. So, Starcasm‘s journo-sleuth Asa Hawks delivered on his apparent desire to capitalize on the shortages of antigen COVID test kits. Of course, he’s loaded with cash already, and drove around in a flashy Porsche when Heather first met him. These days, they live in a mansion worth about $20 Million. Do they need money so bad that he saw an opportunity to increase his cash flow?
RHOC Doc Terry Cashing In On COVID?
Apart from the two reality shows, Heather and Terry have some fingers in other financial pies. Starcasm reminds fans that “Heather’s Closet” is one side hustle. The outlet noted, “Both Heather and Terry have partnered to promote a supplement and beauty brand called Consult Beaute, which sells vitamins, cleansers, and creams.” And they often appear on the “ShopHQ network.” According to Asa Hawks, the COVID test kits retail there with a “238% markup.”
Apparently, the RHOC star sells “five tests for $119.00 plus $10.99 shipping and handling.” Unfortunately, places like Walgreens that sell them for $9.99, experience a shortage right now. That’s because the Omicron variant of the virus has everyone rushing to buy kits. Well, they are useful tests, as they remove the need to go out for testing elsewhere. However, what might now be considered an essential product, seems more expensive just like any other supply and demand hot product.
Sold Out Test Kits
Pricey or not, it’s clear that the RHOC star hit on a winner. At the moment, the storefront reveals that the “Flowflex™ Easy-to-Use COVID-19 Antigen Home Test “has run out of stock.
