Now that Meghan Markle has taken center stage after marrying Prince Harry in a lavish royal wedding at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle, everyone wants to know much more about her. After all, there must be something special about Meghan that managed to make Harry fall in love with her.
To begin with, Meghan is a 36-year-old California native who started off her Hollywood career as a television actress. She has two parents, Doria Ragland and Thomas Markle, who divorced when she was young. She was raised by her mother. She also has two half-siblings from her dad’s side, Samantha Markle, and Thomas Markle Jr.
Meghan graduated from Northwestern University in 2003 and even briefly worked at the American Embassy in Buenos Aires. And while she’s dabbled in a few jobs here and there, she feels the most comfortable in front of the cameras. Meghan played the role of Rachel Zane in the hit USA legal drama Suits from 2011 until 2017. She quit her role in order to focus on her new position as a member of the British royal family.
Meghan will also be the first person of color in the modern British royal family. And while she has definitely been scrutinized by the British press, she’s focusing on just one thing: being Prince Harry’s new wife. According to the New York Times, she has said, “As naïve as it sounds, I’ve never been in tabloid culture, I’ve never been in pop culture to that degree.”

No I did not!!!!
I watched it on GOOD MORNING AMERICA (GMA). British weddings are totally different from ours. It was beautiful and in good taste.
I’m glad that Meghan does not comment on her family. I’m also glad that her Mom remained low key during the whole process. Her half siblings are making Americans look bad by trying to get their two seconds of fame. How embarrassing!!
What’s”embarrassing” is Smegan’s obvious lack of emotion towards her family, whether they’re perfect or not. Concerning. Her father paid for her education, and now she ignores him. She’s a sociopath.
The 15 seconds of fame half sister and brother could be making this all up. The father never said that he was being ignored. Those two were the only ones that ever commented. Even if it were true, those are family matters, and did not endear them with the public. I imagine no book deal for the sister either.
Poor Sigi….why do you always end up feeling sorry for the obvious white trash liars? You really have to get out of the gutter and find better friends.
Yeah.. This “lavish ” Wedding.
You know Smegs’ Mother has to go to a Laundromat to wash her clothes ?
Perhaps if Selfish Smegs spent a little less on that horrible gown, Momma Doria could have her own Washer /Dryer.
This Duchess of Skank is a real humaterian … Charity begins at home ..
Unbelievable .Just simply unbelievable .
