Royal Family News: Palace Wants To See Prince Harry’s Memoir Before Publication

British royal family news teases that Prince Harry promises that his memoir of “the man he has become” will be published this year. But the Fresh Prince of Montecito has promised a lot of things. He and wife Meghan Markle promised to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony via a Spotify contract, a Netflix contract, their Archewell Audio deal, and so on and so on. So far there is the sound of crickets serenading.

Will Prince Harry Publish His Memoir?

Now comes word that his memoir will be a sour note in a cacophony of sounds made by him and Meghan over the last two years. In case you’ve been in a bunker, they ditched the royal family and blasted the monarchy with all sorts of false accusations and innuendo. They have time to drag his and her families through the mud across media platforms, but no time to fulfill their work obligations—don’t try this at home kids.

Understandably the monarchy would love to see Harry’s scribbles before they’re unleashed.  According to The Mail on Sunday’s assistant editor Kate Mansey, the memoir is almost complete. No doubt having a ghost writer has helped speed the process along.

Prince Harry Has Told His Life Story

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee is set for summer, and Harry’s bio is expected to drop in autumn. MailPlus host Jo Elvin said on Palace Confidential, “There is also the issue of Harry’s book, his biography. That is another thing that needs content, that has a deadline.”

To which Mansey replied, “He has this super duper ghostwriter and it’s coming out this year. It does feel like they are on the final draft apparently. They must just be dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s at this stage.”

She added, “There have been reports that the Palace want to see it before it is published but I can’t imagine any US publisher wanting to show them it beforehand. It is just so terrible timing with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this year. The Jubilee should be a time for celebration.”

Will Prince Harry Do Right By His Family?

Will Harry let his family see what his ghostwriter wrote, before the world debut? According to The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden, his grandmother Queen Elizabeth, “deserves the courtesy of seeing it before it is published”. Will Harry do the right thing by his tormented family? It is perhaps of concern that he described the book as a, “wholly-truthful and accurate,” account of his life so far, as written by Pulitzer Prize-winner J.R. Moehringer. But in what sounds like an ominous sign, royal watcher Rebecca English, calls the book a, ” lurking bombshell that’s due to come out later this year.”
