Coronation Street Spoilers: Nina Asks For A Lifeline After Locking Asha In Anxiety Horror

“Coronation Street” spoilers have revealed that Nina Lucas will finally ask for professional help after her troubling anxiety caused her to lock up Asha Alahan.

Ever since that gruesome hate attack where Nina (Mollie Gallagher) lost her late boyfriend Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) she has been feeling guilty of all the bad things that happen to her loved ones. With her reunion with Asha (Tanisha Gorey), she believes that something bad will happen to her partner if she doesn’t see her or if she’s far from her, which both agreed she installs a tracking device on her phone.

But it isn’t enough to ease Nina’s worries and they soon escalate in upcoming scenes this week as Asha decides to visit Scotland for a specific university course. Although she supports her decision at first, her anxious thoughts lead her to be overprotective to Asha by locking her in the cafe to stop her from leaving the cobbles when she heard reports about flooding.

Terrified about how her mind can unusually change her, she acknowledges her need for professional intervention and her uncle Roy Cropper (David Neilson) gives his support by accompanying her for a doctor’s appointment.

She comes home with the good news that she’ll have counseling sessions with the doctor soon. Will Nina finally get to manage her irrational thoughts?

The year 2021 was a rough one for Nina who lost Seb, turned to booze for comfort, and let go of her resentment towards Kelly (Millie Gibson). But through it all, Asha has been very loyal to Nina and has remained by her side especially when her mind wreaks havoc. But she’s up to experience new things in life and has thought of studying at Glasgow University, away from her partner.

Nina tearfully confessed her worries about her being far but her younger brother Aadi (Adam Hussain) reminded her she should not put her life on hold just because she’ll hurt Nina’s feelings. But what will be Asha’s decision? Will she choose her education or her love life?

Nina’s portrayer Mollie Gallagher has made a debut of her brand new hairdo in her scenes with Asha. From her black curly hairstyle, she now appears on screen with her bleach blonde locks at the front of her hair, and fans can’t help but compare her to the famous American musician and singer Billie Eilish.
